Black Ash & Blue on Ballpoint

Black Ash has been turned to rough shape and tinted with blue dye.  Then, the natural texture of the wood’s grain was filled with fine brass powder.  The whole was then repeatedly sealed and sanded until its final shape and a smooth satin surface was achieved.  Finished, the body was mated to the gold tone lower and upper finials to complete this ballpoint pen.
