Ballpoint, kaleidoscope and acrylic

The chrome upper barrel is a kaleidoscope.  The lower barrel is acrylic swirls in the colors of an abalone shell.  Hold the pen so light shines in the window from the side.  Look in the end above the clip and turn the pen to see the kaleidoscopic patterns emerge.  The refill is short, as the kaleidoscope fills the upper barrel.
